Join me for a mid-week reset in the comfort of your own home. This gentle yoga class will begin with settling into the breath and grounding meditations followed by several warm-ups. I'll blend various elements of the following approaches to a yoga practice:
Yin Yoga - a slow-paced, relatively passive style of yoga. The poses are held for longer periods of time, typically 3 - 5 minutes and are practiced on the floor. This practice is geared towards stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine) to access the deeper layers of fascia. Restorative Yoga - seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional lightness with the aid of props, creating support for the body and fostering deeper relaxation. This experience is often paired with yoga nidra, a guided meditation known as “yogic sleep." Self-care is a necessity during these stressful times! Make your physical and mental health a priority! This class will give you a happy "Hump Day!" This donation-based class will take place EVERY Wednesday unless otherwise indicated.
