About Denys Morgan
Denys Morgan (Annapurna Devi / Devta Kaur), LMT, E-RYT 500, has been a wellness professional since 1986, and is guided by her lifelong dedication to the balance and harmony of mind, body, and spirit - the holistic self. Her intuition, enthusiasm, and creativity have been bolstered by her many teachers and from her beloved gurus, including Shirdi Sai Baba, Sathya Sai Baba, Amma Sri Karunamayi, Mother Meera, Paramahansa Yogananda and Osho. Her mantra in life is inspired by Sai Baba’s message: “Love All! Serve All!”
Denys has traveled extensively and called many places “home,” including spending several years in India which she considers her true home. Denys is a lifelong learner with over 800 hours of yoga training - and counting Her yoga specialties include Hatha, Kundalini, and Bhakti, as well as sound healing. Each class is unique and is an expression of the devotion and diverse practices she has gathered from decades of teaching.
Denys began teaching fitness classes in the 80’s and is certified as a personal trainer and pilates instructor. She began her yoga teacher training in 1991 in Orlando, FL, and began teaching yoga in her hometown of Cleveland, OH in 1994. She received the majority of her yoga training in numerous ashrams throughout India. In 2013, she completed a 200-hour immersion training at the Kundalini Yoga Research Institute in New Mexico.
Denys is deeply passionate about Bhakti yoga and sound healing. She has sung in choirs since childhood and is a lover of spiritual singing. She has received certification in sound healing from the Kailash School of Yoga & Institute of Holistic Healing and the International Society of Vedic & Yogic Sciences, and studied with a professionally-trained classical Indian music teacher in 2009 while in Varanasi, India.
Denys offers a unique and dynamic approach to yoga and meditation by facilitating the teachings of Osho in her workshops. In 2007, Denys trained with an Osho master in Goa, India, and studied under a direct disciple of Osho two years later in Dharamsala. She gained further experience at Osho’s ashram in 2010 and 2018 while in Pune, India.
Denys co-founded the Ananda Bhakti Yoga Teacher Training program in 2015, and has been training and mentoring aspiring yoga teachers ever since. One of her greatest joys is sharing the knowledge that she has been so blessed to receive. Denys is certified as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). She has a special affinity with yoga anatomy, philosophy, Hindu mythology and Vedic mantra. Currently, Denys holds the credentials as a Registered Yoga School (RYS) accredited through Yoga Alliance. She is collaborating with several accomplished teachers to offer hybrid yoga teacher training programs with options to train in India. Click here to learn more: YTT
After having led numerous retreats to India and Costa Rica for aspiring yoga teachers and practitioners wishing to deepen their practice, Denys plans to continue to create these programs and trainings and take yogis where they have never been before.
